She specializes in bringing brands to life through strategic partnership development, compelling storytelling, and innovative marketing strategies. Grounded in the Bambara proverb “Dooni dooni kononi be nyaga da” (Little by little, the bird builds its nest) from her time in the Peace Corps, Rebecca embodies the guiding mantra “Dooni, Dooni” in both her personal and professional life.
Currently serving as a Social Impact & Entertainment Consultant, Rebecca crafts creative solutions for purpose-driven brands, steering brand awareness and demand through partnership development, marketing strategy, and intentional storytelling.
In her previous role as the Director of Content Partnerships at A Show For A Change, a Los Angeles-based social impact entertainment startup, Rebecca played a pivotal role in leveraging the power of storytelling to effect positive change. She curated international films for a streaming platform that monetized socially conscious content and drove charitable giving.
Prior, Rebecca spent over 13 years at SAP, a purpose-driven tech company, where she held key positions in global strategic marketing functions. In Competitive & Market Intelligence, she nurtured relationships with esteemed analyst firms such as Gartner, IDC, and Forrester. In Global Sponsorships, she managed and expanded partnerships with notable sports and entertainment organizations like Madison Square Garden and McLaren Group (F1 Racing), showcasing how SAP technology contributes to the success of its partners.
Rebecca’s passion for making a positive impact extends beyond the professional realm. Her dedication is evident in her two-plus years as a Small Business Development Advisor in the Peace Corps in Mali, West Africa, where she empowered women’s groups to enhance financial independence through microfinance loans to build small businesses and promoted literacy. Her global citizenship is further highlighted by her participation in the AFS Intercultural Program in Germany during high school, studying abroad in France, and volunteering with children living with HIV in Uganda and street kids in India.
An accomplished marathon runner, Rebecca has channeled her energy into fundraising for organizations including Fred’s Team - Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, contributing to the fight against cancer.
Based in both New York City and Los Angeles, Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from Franklin & Marshall College and a Certificate in Negotiation and Decision-Making Strategy from Columbia University. She is thrilled to contribute her diverse global experiences to Elevated Up and Out’s mission of unlocking the potential of underserved youth through access to international travel experiences and inspiring global service.
