Andrew Hargrove is a global citizen, returned Peace Corps Volunteer, former NGO leader, and veteran global business leader. When he joined the Peace Corps and traveled to Uzbekistan in 1999, he sought an adventure, but got a global education. Andrew taught market economics to undergraduate students at Tashkent State Technical university but was himself schooled in the rich history of Central Asia, dual currency systems, authoritarianism, and the power of living in a new culture.

The experiences turned his head on his perception of global politics, economics, and the American experience. He became convinced that everyone should experience such paradigm shifts. And so, his first job out of Peace Corps was for a U.S. NGO specializing in international exchange, from posts in Washington, DC, Central Asia and most recently the Balkans, where he led SE Europe operations across seven countries.

After a Global MBA at Thunderbird School of Global Management and a stint as a State Department intern, Andrew joined Delta Air Lines in a number of executive positions including procurement, logistics & transportation, and most recently, head of their Global Catering Operations - with more than two hundred stations globally. Andrew is now a Consultant for Goldratt Consulting which specializes in applying Theory of Constraints to improve operations in businesses, government, and nonprofit sectors.

Andrew received his BA in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He and his wife (also a T-bird) reside in Atlanta, GA with their two dogs and a cat. In their spare time they enjoy travel, planning travel, exploring international cuisine, reading, binge watching Netflix, and expanding their global community.
